Today's jobs were to cut greens with triple, rake bunkers, cut tees, divot tees, collect balls, top up ball dispenser, over seed tees, top-dress tees, rub in top-dressing and screening sand for bunkers
Holes made by the front spiked roller on seeder

Top-dressing with Lv20 sand
5th tee after seeded, top-dressed and rubbed in
Screening sand to take out any stones etc

7th green side topped up with new sand

1st green side bunker topped up with new sand

  1. I was thinkin of overseeding and topdressing too, you will be hoping the seed germinates at these low temps?

Fingers crossed I'm trying Bar fairway which has a Fescue cultivar that's called salsa which germinates at lower temperatures, at worst the seed is nice and snug in the sward ready to go when the temperatures raise, I will see how the next couple of weeks are and I might apply a fert to help the tees/seed going into the season

  3. I might have to get my hands on some of thats stuff. Yes i presume thats a heavy dressing would keep the seed nice and cosy!
