Last Saturday I did a talk/tour of the Greenkeeping department to our Club members to give them a insight in to how things run and managed on and off the courses

We have started work on our new short game area on our driving range, which will consist of a new green and 3 new bunkers etc

With the mild weather we are still carrying out a lot of cutting to keep on top of things over both the courses
to help harden the greens and surrounds up we have applied a little liquid feed and iron
we have been out hand weeding greens again to control daises
The gorse management plan is working great with re growth at the area at the 2nd fairway already
We have replaced our old tines on our fairway spiker ready for next week to relieve compaction from all the summer play and cutting etc, the old tines lasted 4 years
