 That's our new diesel tank and cage in use now which is sited on our wash pad area this will keep us up to date with the legislations
 The course back to green again
With the cutting program slowing down it's allowed us to start carrying out aeration work to walkways etc, applying our Autumn feed to the Craighead course greens, making a start to spraying the Balcomie fairways with soluble iron and spraying all greens and surrounds with worm irritant as it's that time of year again

 It's that time of year again to cut out the winter greens, divot, trim the holes and white line ready for the first frost, these are cut at surround height of 8mm
 With the growth slowing down it's allowed us to catch up on other tasks like clean/blow the Car parks etc
That's us completed the hollow coring, double verti-cutting & cutting to the Craighead course tees now we will start the same operation on the surrounds

Jobs this week have been the usual cutting over both courses, making a start to hollow coring, double verti-cutting the Craighead tees, hollow coring, verti-cutting, seeding, top-dressing the putting green, spraying both sets of greens and surrounds with insecticide and fixing another irrigation burst on the driving range. On Monday we had an outside contractor in to replace decoders on our Balcomie irrigation system that have been failing when being used throught the computer and controller.

 Wednesday afternoon was the Greenkeepers (BIGGA) Autumn outing at Stirling golf club.

 Our first cut on the Craighead greens since we carried out the aeration work at the start of the week, we will continue to vibrate roll them to help work the top-dressing into the surface plus water at night to keep the seed damp.
The guys carrying out the usual Friday afternoon task of cutting/cleaning the burn on the Balcomie course which runs across holes 2, 10, 11 & 12
