Some great definition on our courses, hole 12 on the Balcomie course
hole 5 & 6 on the Balcomie course
5th green on the Balcomie course
2nd hole coastline on the Balcomie course
All greens/PG's on both courses have been spiked to a depth 25mm to help open up the surfaces to allow air and water in
After the spiking we brushed, cut and groomed the greens
Then 5 tons of sand per/ha, which worked out perfect before all the rain this week
With the 19mm of rain this week, it's kick started a lot of growth to all areas

3 trailer loads of clippings from the Balcomie course fairways and 5 loads from the Craighead course fairways
We have installed an all weather clock on the Craighead course starters hut
We are seeing the benefits of cutting and collecting the roughs over both the courses, the area of rough on the right has been done last winter

We have had a couple of irrigation bursts on the Balcomie course
We have trimmed back the gorse rear of the 17th yellow tee on the Balcomie course to allow better vision from the back medal tees
On Tuesday afternoon I attended the Greenkeeping tour/walk at the new Dumbarnie Links
 Some cracking golf holes
Great establishment in such a short time from the construction
