  1. Hi bob, what fert, iron and wetter do you use and quantities per hect do you apply, had some of our members(Malton and Norton Golf Club) played at your course last week, they thoroughly enjoyed it.

  2. Hi Richard, how things with you, I hope your members enjoyed our course which one did they play? We have been using 2 wetting agents 1, Osprey 2, Aquasorb 45 plus add seaweed. applications 20 litres of wetter, 20 litres of seaweed and between 10-20 litres of iron depending what colour we want. The Balcomie course has really suffered from Fairy ring since the drought so we tried slit tining then a fungicide and wetter and flooded in.

  3. Not sure which course, they said your greens were really good, deep green and true.Only reason I ask about wetter fert iron combo is they said u had fairy rings, as do we, on all our greens, not causing an issue with putting but don't look great. U use a simpler fert, seaweed iron application to us albeit double quantities of each. I doubled up on my last app due to anthracnose starting, that has masked fairy rings but now are on the slow side compared to our usual speed. we tried heritage on our annual fairy ring problem to no avail so we just try and mask them with iron. The recent rain/humidity we have had here has sparked further development of anthracnose but Im hoping the dry spell forecast helps. Other than that fine lol, its never easy, great blog though, keep up the good work.
