The drainage work to the left of 8th fairway completed on the Craighead course to help reduce turfing we only turfed the fairway area and the rest will be seeded when temperatures rise
Starting drainage on the right hand side of the 8th fairway this has only been possible with the dry weather
Other jobs are carrying on with edging tee paths on both courses, raking bunkers daily and rolling greens every couple of days to keep the the surfaces smooth

Hi Bob, really great blog! I came across it recently and have been enjoying reading through- I love golf but I never had any idea of what it takes to upkeep a green, so it's a fascinating read for me!
ReplyDeleteI don't suppose you would be interested in sharing this over at Glipho? We're a new social blogging site with an active community of creative bloggers, many of whom are keen golfers themselves- I know they would find your work here very interesting! If you get a spare minute, perhaps you could take a quick visit over to http://glipho.com and see what you think. You can simply import all your old posts from this existing blog over to Glipho too, without affecting anything at all. It's pretty easy!
Thanks for your time, and the really interesting blog. I look forward to reading more from you soon! If you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask either!
All the best,
Teo
Hi Teo I will have a look and it's great to get feedback, cheers Bob
