What's been happening this week

We have had new lights fitted in the workshop and paint room
7th greenside bunker on the Craighead course, which the face needs to be rebuilt and the bunker reshaped

Revetted face choked out with sand

Here's Nick and Rab half-way through building the revetted face

Bunker finished and will be G.U.R till next season to allow the turf to knit in

We have been raising low greens sprinkler heads on Craighead course and replacing the old heavy clay soil with sandy loam which will make it easier in the future for repairs

Other jobs this week were cutting greens 3 times twice with triple and once with hand mowers the days we never cut we used the dewy brushes to remove dew, changing holes, cutting tees this has been the first cut since we scarified and top-dressed, raking bunkers 3 times, divoting tees and slit tining fairways
