Yesterday we carried out maintenance on the Craighead course greens by micro hollow tining, cleaning/blowing cores, double verti-cutting, cutting greens, cutting surrounds and changing holes to help reduce thatch levels. With carrying out this work other jobs had to be left ie bunker raking etc so hopefully catch up on these jobs today

On the Balcomie course we had a medal on so course set up was rake bunkers, change holes/tee markers, cut & turf iron greens and only cut the harder growing fairways as growth has slowed down with it dry/burning up just like it should be it must be at least 3 years since it played like a true links with all the rain we have had in the past summers.
