Today we cut tees, divoted tees, cut greens and worked on the 4th fairway drainage

This week sees the start of our drainage project on the 4th fairway and the re vetting of the 1st green side bunker. yesterday afternoon seen 19mm of rain fall not the best for trenching

Last Friday I visited a local club to check out there fairway spiker as we are looking at replacing our existing spiker
we cut out areas in the rough next to the par 3 tees for our winter tees
other jobs were to re-turf rabbit damage on tees plus we put down wire mesh over the new turf hopefully it will keep the rabbits from digging, raked all bunkers, switch greens only today as they were top-dressed and a 0.0.37 autumn fertiliser applied, started to dig out 4th fairway soak away for the new drains and divoted winter greens

heat wave away and back to normal weather, this week we have only cut greens Mon, Wed, Fri and tomorrow they will be rolled for the Sat medal also we applied a liquid iron to the greens. other jobs was to rebuild 10th bunker, cut all semi-roughs and fairways and gave the tees their first cut since the hollow coring, seeding and top-dressing.

Started to rebuild 10th bunker after we completed our tasks of cutting greens, moving & divoting tees, raking bunkers, over seeding etc on 2nd green, started to cut semi-rough and sprayed greens with a preventative fungicide, today we were back to full staff but only for a couple of days.
