Checking the greens units cut and heights

A great night had by all. And today I was out playing golf with the Captain, Vice Captain and Gil Hanse which was a narrow victory for the Captain and I then after a bite to eat we had a course walk with some of the Committee to discuss any changes etc for the future.

Scotty and I were on duty this weekend which entailed moving tee markers, touching up any bunkers, switching greens and putting pins back in. Yesterdays medal was postponed because of the weather which was high winds and heavy rain we had 10mm of rain so both courses were very soft especially Craighead with the odd puddle still here this morning.

This week we have had 500 ton of top soil delivered so we have hired in a local contractor to build a turf nursery at the end of our driving range. the course is still very wet this week so our jobs have been to start edging and cleaning up our tee paths etc, today we cut greens with no perimeter cut, rake bunkers, move markers and divot, clean mess room etc and re-level driving range car park as the lorries bringing in the soil caused slight damage.
