cutting greens and surrounds at hole 11
We are making at start to cleaning up the greens nursery ready for over seeding etc

We have replaced the scarifying blades ready for use on the greens in 3 weeks times other jobs this week were fertilising tees, divoting tees, cutting greens, verti-cutting greens, cutting surrounds, cutting 3.5" roughs and any semi-roughs that needed topped

The verti-cut clippings from 3 greens, they are set at -2mm It was another damp start so we held off from verti-cutting till it dried up a little so we cut greens, cut surrounds this helped in drying up these areas ready for verti-cutting so we made a start to the verti-cutting then after break the rain came on so that put pay to the verti-cutting we have managed to complete 7 greens other jobs today were to move tee markers, trim fairway yardage discs, top-dress all winter greens, collect balls from the driving range and set up the junior course for tonight and also I had a meeting with the SGU about set for the course for the senior home internationals in September

Today we cut greens, cut tees, divot tees , cut semi-rough, top-dressed par 3 tees and we started to verti-cut greens but had to stop because of heavy showers this afternoon, so we started carrying out appraisal's and clean up shed.

Full staff this week so it has been the usual weekly cutting program so far,extra jobs this week are solid tinning greens at 2.5" spacing to a depth of 2.5" then double rolling to smooth off the surface and our JD 3235c fairway mower is getting the cylinders and bottom blades sharpened

Jobs the last 3 days have been cut greens daily with no perimeter cut, fertilise greens with a liquid 12.4.6 at half rate with liquid iron mixed in with it, cut and blow all bunker faces, cut surrounds, cut semi-rough, cut driving range, cut tees and divot, this morning we set the course up for a club competition then we had planned to cut fairways but the rain has put a stop to that so it's in the shed setting cut on machines, regrinding a damaged fairway unit and cleaning up
we also made up pin sheets when we were changing holes this morning for Sunday as we have the matchplay finals on for the club championship

Today we have our Open on so tasks were cutting greens, changing holes, moving tee markers and raking bunkers I also set the irrigation to come on tonight for the greens & surrounds and the tees tomorrow night has things are drying out, we seem to have missed all the rain yesterday

Short staffed today with 2 men off and another 2 on a half-day hol so our tasks today were cut greens with no perimeter cut, vibrate roll greens, rake all bunkers, move tee markers, collect balls and top-up ball dispenser then we managed to top-dress 9th yellow tee and fertilise it and then gave the winter greens a light top-dressing and I'm hoping the rain will wash in the dressing.

Today our tasks were cut greens no perimeter cut, cut surrounds, cut tees, divot tees, empty tee bins then after break drive in top-dressing sand into shed that was delivered first thing, finish off cutting fairways and semi-rough, top-dress the par 3 tees and rub in, top-dress the 2nd fairway landing area and fill the ball dispenser

Today we had the local boy scouts out helping to clean the beach up of litter
Jobs on the course today have been rake bunkers, change holes and move tee markers, cut greens, cut fairways, spray growth regulator on bunkers faces and trim greens sprinkler heads. last night we put the water on the greens at 2 minutes a head as they looked slightly dry from the winds yesterday they are still running at just over 9'

Today we are a man short Rab is on a weeks holiday, tasks today were to cut tees, divot tees, empty tee bins, top up ball washers, cut 3.5" roughs, cut greens, start cutting semi roughs after break, start to strip the JD 8700 fairway mower units down ready for to be put on the grinder, put out new bunker rakes in the larger bunkers so there are 2 in each and we went to Anstruther Golf course to demo one of our JD 2500a greens mower as they are buying it off us when our new ones come in.
