Nick vibrate rolling greens to help speed the surface up
Jobs this week were - cut fairways twice, greens daily and use rollers when possible, cut all bunker faces, strimming work, cutting semi-roughs and 4" roughs, cutting tees and surrounds twice etc

At last heat

8th green core holes nearly healed up after 3 weeks
Other jobs this week- the greens have been cut daily and today we dropped the cutting height to 4.5mm, tees have been cut twice, we sprayed the greens with an insecticide as there was signs of leather jackets and birds pecking, all the semi-roughs and 4" roughs cut, fairways were cut Monday and again tomorrow weather pending we have been short staffed this week with staff helping on the Balcomie course

A Leather jacket on our 1st green
We verti-drained our tees with a 10mm solid tine to a depth of 5" then cut behind and we will apply a wetting agent next week

This week we have made a start to spraying any Daisies and clover on the fairways and driving range, other jobs this week were to flush out the sprinklers on tee 11 as they were not switching off when on automatic, rolling greens daily, cutting semi-rough, sprayed wetting agent on greens and a couple of same turfing jobs

Today was the first of us cutting the greens since the scarifying work etc also we rolled the greens, raked bunkers, moved tee markers, collected balls off the driving range, cut fairways and cut 4" rough then carried out some machine maintenance

Today we raked bunkers, moved tee markers , divoted tees, cut 4" rough, start cutting fairways, vibrate roll greens when it dried up so not to lift any seed or dressing and fixed any damage from the heavy rain and hail on Friday night
